Spring arrives in the UK countryside.

Hawthorn sprays are the first sign of Spring in the countryside.

My favourite time of year, when the rain starts to warm in England and life returns to the garden.

Hornbeam, laid in a Midlands style with stakes and pleachers made of Hazel. It has a beauty in itself and provides the spine for the regeneration.
My first ever attempt at hedge laying before I understood the difference in styles and realised how brutally aggressive you could actually be in cutting the trunks.
