I used to wonder, could I really make a living mucking about on the Internet? Or creating images. Turns out the answer was yes.
I’ve worked in strategy, creative and technology for famous advertising agencies and consultancies, started and sold my own agencies and worked for a number of novel startups. Some of the startups worked out, some didn't. Some were little more than an idea on the back of a napkin when we began, but it’s always better to invent the game than play by the rules. But that’s the first act.
Somewhere along the way, I got interested in risk. Not gambling but disaster and resilience. I spend most of my time understanding hazards and disasters before they happen, improving response and helping put the pieces back together in the aftermath of what we can't control.
This site is a practice of curiosity reflecting my interests and multi-disciplinary field of work. It might get a little weird at times. Thanks for being here.
